England Squash Affiliation

This email is mainly aimed at team players who up to 30th November were affiliated to England Squash (ES) That affiliation has now expired and you should have had an email advising you as such. Up to now, our team player affiliation has been paid for by the club as it is compulsory to be ES affiliated to compete in the North West Counties Squash League (NWCSL) . But ES have changed this to each member has to apply personally for affiliation.

So, any player who wants to play team squash in the NWCSL must affiliated to ES individually. To do so, go to https://membership.englandsquash.com/ The membership option to choose is the "JUST PLAY" option, which costs £15.00 There are a number of benefits included; the most important one, for me, is the insurance element which covers you in case of a squash related accident.

For club players, affiliation to England Squash is NOT compulsory. It is only required if you want to play team squash or enter an ES sanctioned competition.

Regards

Brian Birch (Chairman of Squash)
